Oneness Temple Opening.
I have recently returned from India, where I was blessed to attend a deepening of the oneness process at Golden City, and was present during the time of the consecration of the temple. I am deeply grateful to once again have experienced the phenomenal grace of AmmaBagavhan & the dasas at the Oneness University.
Because of the scheduled temple opening, there were around three hundred people from all over the world at the deepening! What an amazing experience!
Thousands more gathered for the consecration of the temple. The celebrations were scheduled to take place over six days, but within the first few hours of the first day almost half a million people from all over India had arrived at the temple. The roads leading into Golden City were jammed with upwards of three times that number! It became very clear that in spite of the loving and detailed planning for the event, there was no way that the safety of such vast numbers of people could be guaranteed.
AmmaBagavhan made the decision to bring the event to a close and most of us westerners did not get to enter the temple.
Intially I felt quite disappointed and sad that the longed for visit to that beautiful, now consecrated,temple was not going to happen! Gracious as always, Anadagiriji, the Director of the University,visited us at the campus and spent some time describing what had unfolded. Any disappointment and sadness soon turned to gratitude that AmmaBagavan, the dasas & all the people at the temple were safe.
As the realization sank in, of the sheer number of beings that are now part of this amazing phenomenon, this movement towards oneness,this sense of gratitude, of awe was almost overwhelming. There is such a drive for unity now on this planet,and in India at the temple opening this was so apparent.
